just picked the Mrs up from Bingo and went down the A49 new road extension, Cars flying past at Warp 10 and screechin' dough nutin' and driftin' round the islands, I bet they was thinking, " who the F' is this ole sod in our way ?
on the way back, they'd all moved on, I suspect the police had made an appearance ,,

Tell me about it

There was dispersal order in place for these nobhead petrol heads and their car meet ups on the Asda car park last weekend LINK it covered the Asda car parks and the new road Westwood Way

But they have been having their Easter nobhead meeting this weekend, and it has been wall to wall racing all weekend, they have a course from Asda to the new road Westwood Way at Goose Green and then back down Caroline Street, Wallgate and Pottery Road to the Asda car park.

Funnily enough Roy,most people I have spoken to have been clocked at 38mph on that stretch!
(Is that police van legally parked on the grass verge?)

I was done at 37 about 5m before the 40mph sign going up the hill near the Shell Station.

Walking back from the restaurant last night we could hear loud cars and bikes around the Wigan Lane/ Swinley area. One came past us on Menes Rd on a hot lap. The helicopter was up too. I hope they nicked a few.

Joe Maplin:

"(Is that police van legally parked on the grass verge?)"

It is actually, and it might surprise you to know that where they park on that verge is actually a type of hard standing, made up of a sort of concrete block paving which has holes in it which allow the grass to grow up through them and over time cover the hard standing, also the kerb is dropped to allow the vehicles to drive on and off the area.
